It’s a three-star property, but honestly, the building itself feels much more upscale than that rating suggests. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful, and I appreciated that they actually knew the answers to my questions about the neighborhood instead of just handing me a brochure.

Business Bay is one of those Dubai districts that’s constantly evolving — you know what I mean, construction cranes everywhere but also some really solid infrastructure already in place. What I loved about this spot is that you’re literally on Marasi Drive, which means you can walk along the waterfront whenever you need a break from the city intensity. The Dubai Mall is about a 10-minute drive away, and getting to Downtown is surprisingly easy. There’s parking right on-site, which honestly saved me a fortune since Dubai parking fees can add up quickly.

These aren’t hotel rooms — they’re actual apartment units, which makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights. My unit had a proper kitchen with full-size appliances, not those tiny hotel mini-fridges that barely fit a water bottle.
