First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Brady – Gare de l’Est on Boulevard de Strasbourg, you immediately get that classic Parisian neighborhood vibe — it’s not trying to be fancy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the place. This three-star hotel sits right in the heart of the 10th arrondissement, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The entrance has that understated French charm you’d expect, nothing flashy but clean and inviting.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this spot in Paris — you’re literally steps from Gare de l’Est, which means getting around the city (or escaping to other parts of Europe) couldn’t be easier. But it’s not just about transportation convenience. The 10th has this authentic Parisian energy that tourists often miss when they stick to the obvious districts. You’ve got local bistros, proper bakeries, and that mix of working Parisians and international travelers that keeps things interesting. Couples seem to really get this area — they consistently rate the location around 8.2, and I can see why.
Your Room and Comfort
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star — clean, functional, and comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep after walking around the city all day. Nothing revolutionary here, but the basics are done well. The beds are decent, the bathroom works properly, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I appreciated was how quiet it stayed despite being on a busy boulevard — good windows make all the difference in Paris.
Breakfast That Actually Works
You know what surprised me? The breakfast setup is actually pretty thoughtful. They’ve got continental options, but they also cater to vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free needs — which isn’t always a given at this price point in Paris. The buffet style means you can grab what you want and get on with your day, or take your time if you’re not in a rush. I mean, it’s not going to change your life, but it’s solid fuel for exploring the city.
Why Guests Love It
This hotel works because it gets the fundamentals right without any pretense. The location score of 8.2 isn’t just a number — it reflects how well-connected you’ll be to everything that matters in Paris. Your pets are welcome here too, which honestly can be a real headache to find in the city center. It’s the kind of place where you’ll sleep well, start your day properly, and spend your time exploring rather than dealing with hotel hassles. For travelers who want a reliable base in an authentic Parisian neighborhood without paying upscale prices, Hotel Brady delivers exactly what it promises.
Families seeking hotels that allow pets appreciate roomy balconies, nearby vet clinics, and concierges who stock treat jars.

The staff were very helpful with anything we needed like baggage storage before and after our stay. A team member Oceane especially had a great customer service presence and demeanour with her communications and was more than happy to give suggestions for the area. The rooms were lovely and nice and neat and tidy. They were equiped with everything...
Rob

Conveniently between 2 metro stations. Chose this hotel due to location near Gare d lest. The French restaurant close by serves good breakfast. Bed is comfy, room is clean and charging points are good. Like the toilet and the water from the rain shower is good.
