First Impressions
Walking up to Hôtel Du Leman on Rue Trévise, you immediately get that classic Parisian neighborhood vibe — you know, the kind where locals are grabbing their morning coffee and there’s actually life happening around you. This three-star spot sits right in the 9th arrondissement, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has that typical Haussmanian charm without trying too hard, and when you step inside, it feels more like a well-kept family hotel than some corporate chain.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this area — you’re genuinely in one of Paris’s best-rated neighborhoods, but it doesn’t feel touristy or overrun. The Grands Boulevards are just a short walk away, which means you can easily hop on the metro or catch a bus pretty much anywhere. I mean, couples consistently rate this location around 9.2, and after spending time here, I get why. You’ve got that perfect balance where you can walk to major attractions but still feel like you’re experiencing real Parisian life. Plus, your dog will love the tree-lined streets for morning walks — there’s something special about having a pet-friendly base in such an authentic part of the city.
Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star in Paris — compact but thoughtfully designed, with everything you actually need. The beds are comfortable enough, and there’s decent storage space (which, let’s be honest, can be hit or miss in Parisian hotels). What impressed me was how quiet it stayed despite being on a fairly busy street — the windows do their job well. If you’re traveling with pets, the staff is genuinely accommodating, though you’ll want to mention your furry friend when booking since pet policies can vary.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here is a proper continental spread with buffet options, and it’s actually worth getting up for. They’ve got the usual suspects — croissants, coffee, fresh bread — but the quality is better than what you’ll find at many hotels in this price range. The breakfast room gets good natural light, which makes starting your day feel less rushed. I found myself lingering over coffee longer than planned, watching the neighborhood come alive through the windows.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with fancy amenities or over-the-top service, but that’s sort of the point. Hôtel Du Leman delivers exactly what most travelers actually want — a clean, comfortable base in an excellent location with staff who know what they’re doing. The fact that it’s pet-friendly just adds to its appeal, especially since finding good pet-accommodating spots in central Paris can be surprisingly tricky. You’re paying for location and reliability here, and honestly, that’s a pretty smart trade-off when you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city anyway.
Pet allowed hotels blend cozy lobbies, fenced garden spaces, and staff who remember your dog’s name by checkout.

It was my third stay here in the last 3 years .
I like the hotel as its very convenient location near Gare de Lyon so easy on arrival and departure .
Full of nice places to eat around from bfast , lunch & dinner . In summer a bit noisy as restaurants in the street have terrace . Rooms are ok . Needs a bit of remodeling .
